Pradip Bhattacharjee
Is a Mental Health Clinician, Yoga Therapist, and Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Mindfulness Facilitator at Monash Health, Melbourne, Australia. He has been facilitating Yoga for Wellness programs since 2004, beginning in Auckland, New Zealand.
Pradip adopts a holistic approach towards care and recovery. He is trained in contemporary medicine and well-versed in traditional healing methods. Pradip is passionate about facilitating yoga and sensory modulation programs on an ongoing basis for his clients.
He facilitates TCTSY (Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga) programs within Monash Mental Health, ensuring participants have a positive experience. Pradip is a registered health practitioner with over 30 years of experience in emergency, intensive care, and mental health.
Having worked in different countries and interacted with diverse groups, Pradip has experienced many challenges, including personal injuries sustained in a war zone. Through his lived experiences, he understands the devastating impact trauma can have on someone’s life and the positive effects of therapies like TSY (Trauma Sensitive Yoga).
Pradip plans to expand the scope of his practice to community-based aftercare, believing that Power8 Yoga for Wellness should benefit all affected by any trauma in a holistic way.
